Losing XP and level
When a character level 10+ dies, it loses a certain amount of XP.
- A character of any level loses 4% of XP when it dies.
- Chaotic characters also lose 4% of XP without any extra penalties.
- If a character dies in a peaceful zone (any township), it doesn't lose any XP.
- For characters level 0-9: XP doesn't get lower than 0%, it's also impossible to lose a level.
- For characters level 10+: XP can get lower than 0%, it's possible to lose a level, when 4 or more levels are lost, the learned skills are deleted or their level gets lower.
Warning!
If a character loses a level when it dies, it loses more than 4% of XP as the amount of XP being lost is based upon the level being lost |
